with 265 days of yearly rain, scotland may not sound like the ideal destination. however, that’s great for us, as it remains quite empty all year round for endless weekend adventures off the beaten path. under the rainclouds lie crystal blue waters, lush fern groves, snow capped hills, and, when the sun pokes through, the occasional rainbow makes its grand appearance. not many countries have such a vast quantity and quality of unexplored, yet accessible beauty, which is why we are lucky to call it home. even if it does get quite rainy… on that note, fife is the perfect place to explore, as it is the sunniest region in scotland! enjoy your weekend.
